DMS's warehouse capabilities are tightly integrated into its inventory management technology infrastructure. All warehouse shipping terminals are linked to our order processing system and as a result, shipping information is real-time and 100% accurate including shipping method, account numbers, and "ship from" aliases. Once shipped, the tracking numbers, weights, amounts and date fields are immediately available.
The following list highlights some of the key features of our warehouse facility:
- 24/7 emergency hotline number.
- RF (Radio Frequency) units allow handheld users (receiving, inventory movements, replenishments, picking, shipping, cycle counting, etc) to be able to complete their jobs efficiently and accurately.
- Dedicated space for large kitting and rework processes. This area contains three automatic conveyor belts.
- For items requiring more secure storage, Diamond offers three options:
- A temperature and humidity controlled storage room accessible only by swipe card identification. This area is monitored for access, temperature and humidity 24/7 by a third party security service.
- A limited access, locked cage area is used to store higher value items premium items such as iPods and gift cards.
